Art-Psychotherapy

Art therapy/psychotherapy stands out as a method of psychic treatment that uses artistic mediators in the context of a specific therapeutic process. This results in a therapeutic relationship based on the interaction between the subject (creator), the artwork (creation) and the art therapist/psychotherapist.

Internal musicality, the ability to move, dance, paint, model and other creative acts are common to all of us. Creativity is universal, belonging to the human phenomenon and not just to a few talented beings. From a broad point of view, we can talk about Arts-Therapies, considering them to be psychotherapeutic interventions that use artistic mediators: Painting, Drawing, Modeling, Sculpture, Collages, Drama and Dramatic Games, Puppets, Sandplay, Body Expression, Music, Singing, Poetry, Creative Free Writing and Stories.
