Neurodevelopment Therapy

Neurodevelopmental therapy is based on the Neurodevelopmental model of Occupational Therapy, to act in clinical situations such as:
– Alterations in tone (hypotonia, hypertonia)
– Congenital torticollis
– Cranial deformities
– Clavicle fractures and perinatal brachial plexus injuries
– Positional foot injuries in the newborn, among others.
This model seeks to train/reorganize the Central Nervous System so that normal movement and position can be relearned, with visible and long-term effects.
